Here Comes the Sun...

So, just a quick post... I received some FABULOUS news on Friday: I got a new job! I'm going to be working at a small software company in Schenectady as a customer service rep. I'm VERY excited! Everyone there seems awesome - I know I'm going to fit in very well. I'm thrilled to be getting away from insurance and to be entering a field where I know I'll do well in and where I'll be much happier.

I gave my two weeks notice at the insurance company on Monday. That was a little harder than I expected it to be since I was so unhappy there. But Mary Ellen was great: she congratulated me and got right down to business with helping me formulate a plan to tie up all the loose ends at my desk.

So there's my awesome news. Yay! And now it's time to turn off the PDA and put my pink satin sleep mask on and go to sleep. :)
