i now feel that i need stainless steel exhaust tips for my car. you can view them here. i will not pay $75 for them. perhaps i can get them offa ebay...

oh, so i named my car. i decided that it's definitly a boy and that it should be a german name. and i was thinking Hansel because Hansel was a fat little kid in Hansel and Gretel. But he didn't really look like a Hansel or a Hans. Alex suggested that I name the car after the fat German kid in Willy Wonka. so i looked up that name, and the kid from Willy Wonka was Augustus. And i really like that name for my car. Augustus. Gus. I like Gus... like that little fat mouse in Cinderella that laughed... Gus Gus. rock.

so i got a little turbo thingy for the back of my car.

see, my little beetle is a turbo beetle. people who know beetles can tell that by the retractable spoiler just above the rear windshield. but it didn't have any markings on it to denote that it's turbo. and the other day i was behind someone whose beetle had a little turbo thing on it right below the VW emblem on the back of the car. i was so jealous. my little beetle is turbo too and no one could tell. so i went home that day and ordered one of those little turbo thingys off of ebay for $10.

yesterday i spent an hour and a half vaccuming out the inside, armoraling the interior, washing the outside, waxing the outside, washing all the windows and washing the tires. my car is so spiffy and beautiful now. then i stuck the turbo thingy on the back under the VW emblem. I was so nervous about putting it on, because i didn't want it to be crooked. it came with a backing over the sticky part and a clear cover over the front to keep it shiny. i kept the clear part on when i was sticking it to the car because it was something easy to hang on to and it was rectangular so i figured that it would help me get it on straight. so i held on to the edges of the clear cover and leaned toward the car trying to get it as centered and as straight as possible, and suddenly i realized that i'd leaned too close and it was stuck to the car. i think it may be tilted just a little bit, but that might be me being hypercritical and i don't think that anyone else looking at the car would think it was. also, because the car's so round, it looks tilted different ways from every direction. so it's probably as straight as anyone could have got it.

so rock. my car is hella cute. and now everyone knows it's a turbo beetle.

ew. so my computer apparently crashed. i just went to update the blog and i noticed that the pictures of the cats weren't showing up. so yeah. dammit. it was fine when i left for work. annoying. new computers should not crash.

so i think i've narrowed down the names to these four: Sophie, Fiona, Molly, and Mae. I can't decide... suggestions?

so here are some pics of my cats. i still haven't named the new cat yet. she's just little one for now. although when she does hyper stupid kitten things i call her dumbass. i hope she doesn't think that's her name... dude is not happy about her. i hope they eventually get along...
