yawn.

went to see confidence last night. it was pretty good. edward burns is in it, and he is hot in that movie. damn. i've seen pictures of him in other movies and he was not as hot as he was in that movie. wow. but anyway, the movie was pretty good. it was funny at parts, but i wouldn't call it a comedy. the story was interesting and i didn't predict the ending (until it was obvious way near the end). so rock. good movie.

later vh1 had pop up commercials on. it was mesmerizing. they showed old commercials with pop up comments. they showed part of a flowbee infomercial. very funny. they kept showing this old woman, edna, whose daughter used the flowbee on her. hilarious. edna looked like she was dead sitting there.

anyway... so i didn't get to sleep until 2am. but i made it to work by the time i usually get here (which, unfortunately, is late). i was all hyper this morning because i had coffee, but now i ate chinese food and i want to sleep. i'm drinking a coke and i have tootsie pops with me, so that should be corrected soon. i hope. i like being hyper much more than i like being sleepy.

so i'm excited to go out tomorrow night. beck and i are going shopping tomorrow afternoon to find appropriate going out clothes. then we'll find sponsers while we're out (guys to buy us drinks all night). and if i get asked for my phone number, i'm going to give them the ex's cell phone number. because that is funny to me. i just think it would be so funny for tim to answer his phone and it be some guy asking for me. funny.

beh. i've been writing this post for like 4 hours in between doing work. i should just do work now... 2 hours left till the weekend!

everybody's working for the weekend

so hopefully this weekend won't suck or be boring. beck and i were originally going to go to NYC this weekend, but i'm asspoor right now b/c of paying off one loan this month while at the same time making my first car payment and also paying insurance on my car. so i vetoed that idea.

instead it looks like beck might come home this weekend and we'll go out saturday night. saturday it'll be a year since tim dumped me, and we're going to celebrate that i'm not with that loser. rock! yay! so if beck comes home we'll go to Jillian's or The Big House or McGeary's in downtown Albany. I kinda wanted to go to the Parting Glass just because Hair of the Dog is playing, but unless you make reservations and pay $10 to sit in the performance area you're not guaranteed a good view/spot to listen. i haven't seen HOTD in such a long time. :(

so yeah. if beck doesn't come home i'll probably end up going down to poughkeepsie to help her pack up her apartment in preparation for her move to her new apartment. yay! she's getting away from her sucky neighbors! yay!

dammit. south park is a repeat. i rushed home and it's a repeat. but this one's funny. stick your finger in my thresher. ew :)

i need to redo the colors for this site. i don't want to look at the green anymore. maybe i'll go to white. easy to read. i like blue too... i dunno. suggestions?

i think i may be ill. suckage. i haven't been feeling right, and i felt my neck to see if my glands were swollen and they are. well, the right one is. and that feels gross. like a marble or something. ew. i should go to bed.

i went for a walk today while i did my wash at the parents' house. when i'm "up north" i like to walk in the vischer ferry preserve because i can walk there alone without feeling like i might get jumped and the route i take takes me about 70 minutes to walk when i walk fast, so it's a nice "workout". today it completey tired me out. my legs are so tired. if i was smart and stretched before and after i walked i wouldn't feel this way. while i was driving home i thought that i'd do pilates or yoga when i got here to stretch my legs out, but now i'm just too lazy. i'm just going to go to bed.

so i moved my little tv from one side of the desk to the other. this is so that i can see it from my bed (if i lay the other way in bed - with my feet at the head). but now it's above my monitor and it's kind of fucking it up. irritating. i guess i just won't watch tv and be on the computer at the same time. now i have to move my bed so the one post isn't in the way... i'm going to move it so it's diagonal in the room. that might solve some of the awkwardness in the room as well. the bedroom's pretty big (it's almost as big as my room at home was) and it looks pretty stupid with just my bed, my nightstand and my dresser in it. (really, i'm just justifying moving my bed because moving the bed just so i can see the tv in the other room while i lay in it sounds gay). i won't move the bed tonight though. i vaccumed for almost an hour today and i think my neighbors in the basement might explode if i went ahead and started making more noise. also, i didn't really vaccum under the bed and if i moved it, it would seem like i didn't do a thing in the bedroom. am i spelling vaccum wrong? i think so. vaccum. vacuum. vacum. whatever.

so my car is so cute, that i feel that it needs a custom plate. you can check on the NYS DMV website if the plate combo you want is available. and rock! a few that i want are! like "TRBO BTL". how much would that rock for my little turbo beetle? i don't think that'd help me if i got pulled over though... Beatle in 1337 is available as "B3ATL3". That's cool! there are a few more... but i shouldn't do it, 'cause it's 'spensive and i'm poor.

so my car is a transformer. if i have the sunroof tilted up when i hit 95 mph it closes itself, and then the little spoiler on the back comes up. rock! transformer! there was an autobot named bumble bee, and he was a yellow beetle when he wasn't a robot. (here's a picture:)

and apparently there's an expanded set, and there's a blue vw beetle named glyph. i've been trying to figure out a name for my car. i guess i could call it glyph because it's a blue transforming beetle. but glyph was a girl. and i feel that my car is a boy. beck and alex tell me that if it's a boy, then it's gay. it is not gay. most german boy names (and it should be a german name because it's a german car) are pretty gay though... fritz, friedrich, heinz... mike at work suggested that i name it gunter. i kind of like that... still doesn't seem to fit though. suggestions?

so this guy legally changed his name to Optimus Prime. He's 30 years old. yeah. the only cool part about the story is the guy's in the National Guard and he got a letter from a general in the pentagon saying, "it was great to have the employ of the commander of the Autobots in the National Guard."

i got sunburnt this weekend. but i think it was from driving with my sunroof open. that's kinda funny... so yeah. it's just my face. or more specifically, my forehead. it's all read and warm. doesn't really hurt too much and actually it doesn't look too bad either. like, it might fade into a tan, which would pretty much rock. so i'm gonna stop complaining now.
