so i thought this was funny. people received a "menacing" advertisement featuring Tom Cruise on their voicemails.

so my roadrunner has been irritating lately. i think my modem is bad. it'll connect and then after like five minutes it'll freeze up and i have to unplug the modem and replug it in in order to get it to connect again. suckage. so i've only been able to connect for like 5 minutes at a time. so i called rr techsupport and they're sending someone out friday to look at it. and wouldn't you freaking know it, after i get an appt to have someone come out and i have to take time off of work the freaking thing seems to be working fine now? after being fucked up for a week, it suddenly starts working correctly after i get an appt to have it looked at. dammit. then they'll come out and be like, "hey there, idiot, your modem's working fine, what's your issue?" and after they leave it'll be fucked up again. (there must be some sort of law or principle that applies to this. it'd be the same one that applies to when you finally make an appt to see a dr cause you've been feeling sick for a while you suddenly get better just before you go, or if you make an appt to get your car looked at 'cause it's making a funny noise when you bring it to the garage it won't make that noise anymore.)

Beatallica: Beatles tunes done Metallica style. Rock. I love the Beatles and I love Metallica. And I really enjoy the music on this site. The lyrics are alright, but the really enjoyable part is the beatles music sounding all metallicized. Rock :)

my creepy valentine <- this site made me crack up so bad at work i was almost falling on the floor. i kept sinking farther down into my cubicle so people wouldn't see me all red in the face, tearing up and shaking with silent laughter. i keep having these aftershocks of little giggles. i can't stop... it's really hard to pretend you're doing work when you're hysterical.

so it was a decent weekend. didn't really go out, but had a fun weekend. (beck's gonna get irritated when she reads that... i always say we never go out and she always points out that we do - pretty much every weekend...)
soyeah. so friday beck, alex and i went to starbucks and beck tried to get me to focus on planning for our trip to ireland, but i suck at concentrating on anything so she pretty much sketched out a plan and i pretty much sat there being distracted. afterwards alex and i were in the mood for the guinness so we dragged beck to ravenswood where we had guinness and she had water. we had some fried mushrooms (which really just looked to perfectly mushroom-y) as well. yeah...
so saturday i was lazy and slept for a while and when beck called me at noon she actually woke me up. i'd been up earlier and showered and out to breakfast at peaches cafe but didn't sleep much the night before and really needed to sleep. so i'm not really a lazy bum. (i really hate sleeping most of the day away. it irritates me.) yeahso i met beck and dodi for lunch at friday's around 3... then beck and i got coffee with her parents at persnickity's (i had a caramello latte and beck had a fuzzy walnut <-sounds so gross...). soyeah. then we went to the mall and got beck a new watch. it's so cute! we drove around for a while afterwards and ate breakfast sandwiches for dinner at dunkin donuts. then we decided to go see a movie, so we headed down to crossgates. we got tickets for the 1030 show of Chicago then headed over to houlihan's to waste the hour before the movie at the bar. we did not imbibe too much, i had 2 guinness and beck had a margarita. i was kinda giggle-y by the time we went to the theater. when we got there the advertisement slides were still showing (the ones that are on before the previews even begin) and beck and i were talking to each other and laughing and these two older women that were sitting in front of us turned around and shot us dirty looks. what the hell was their problem? they sucked. the previews weren't even on yet. whatever. so we laughed at them and probably irritated them more. oh well, they deserved it. soyeah, so the movie was great! i loved it! it rocked! :) i love the musical Chicago, and I was worried that the movie would suck it up but it most definately did not. so so so can't wait for that to come out on DVD. soyeah. so afterwards we both just headed home because we were (or at least i was) ass tired.
so sunday i headed down up (i always get that wrong) to my parent's house to spend some quality time with my pa. but he wasn't home. dammit. so i spent some qt with my brother: we watched the bourne identity. that movie was pretty awesome as well. rock. i'd love to wake up one day and have all sorts of super spy abilities ('course i'd still like to remember who i was and i wouldn't want to have been shot). yeah, i thoroughly enjoyed that movie. so later i met beck to walk around the mall (but we went to Clifton Park Center and that mall is so small and ghetto that it didn't take us very long to walk the entire mall). we went to pier one and target to walk as well, and then we went to pancho's for dinner. i love pancho's. it's this mexican restaraunt at exit 8, and it's small but cute. the food is great, and it comes out hella quick. rock. soyeah. so then later we got coffee at starbuck's. we both bought these great stainless steel thermoses. they are so cool looking. and i used mine today and it rocks.
