so yesterday i decided that i was going to bring my cat (Dude) up to the apartment. (my mom was absolutely thrilled). so i drug my brother to wal-mart and bought all of the cat necessities (i couldn't take anything from home because my other cat (Tuxedo) is still living there. i got one of those fancy litter boxes with a hood so i don't have to look at his crap, a cheapass bowl (from the dog section because my cat's such a pig that none of the bowls in the cat section would've been big enough), and of course litter and food. the thing is, everything i wanted was on the top shelf, pushed towards the back. so my brother and i had to scale the shelves of wal-mart in order to get the cat crap. (i told my brother that we were going to wal-mart to buy catshit, and i think he really thought that's what i wanted to buy. when we got there, i wondered aloud where they kept all of the catshit and some old woman passing by gave me a weird look).
so then last night after we were drinking at fridays (well, i was the DD so i only had one megamargarita while beck had three...) we decided to abduct my cat and bring him to my apartment. so we snuck into my house at 1am, grabbed Dude and took off. Beck held Dude in the car for me, and he was shaking pretty much the entire way here. he seems to like the apartment. he's already found a couple places to hide where i have no idea where he is. when we went to bedlast night, he wouldn't get off of me, but now he seems fine. he's such a lazy, boring cat though. all he does is sleep on my bed. it's a comfortable bed though, that's pretty much all i want to do also...

so today (thur, halloween) i saw an ectomobile. well, it was like a ghetto ectomobile. it was this grey-blue colored station wagon with a bluelight on top and the ghostbusters' symbol painted in various places and the lisence plate said "ecto1" it was pretty random. it was like someone had a shitty car and an obsession with the movie...
I bought frames and a mirror and they will all eventually be hanging in my living room. yeah, once i get nails. how annoying. i got home, i was all ready to hang my shit up, and i realized that i was out of nails. i suck. also, i can't hang things in straight lines. my picture gallery will be a little fucked up looking. ah well.
so they called me from the insurance company, and they want me to come back for a second interview on monday. i hope i get this job (pretty much because i don't really have the ambition to keep looking). the job sounds kinda interesting, and it definately sounds like it would be something different every day, and i think i'd really do well in a job like that. i just get so hyper and bored easily. whenever i meet the crew for lunch on sundays i always get ancey. i enjoy the conversation, but i just can't stand sitting for too long. last sunday somebody suggested that i be checked for ADD. i dunno. i am pretty hyper lately. even beck commented on it tonight. eh. i've always been kinda hyper. i don't like to rest or sleep. i feel like i'm missing out on things or something. anyway, this job sounds like it would keep me constantly busy with everchanging new problems, and that'll be good for me. so, yay, got called back, now i hope i get it...
so i went to beck's tonight and on the way home from poughkeepsie i actually saw deer. i never see them when i'm driving and i kept seeing them all over the place tonight. i took that as a sign that i was going to hit one and die. so i tried to slow down, and that worked for a little while... but then... i just love to drive fast. there's no way around it. i'm not happy unless i'm speeding. it's just so much fun to drive fast. and i've got this fucked up attitude about getting pulled over. i see it as a challenge. i feel like i'll never get a speeding ticket because i haven't gotten one yet. so i'm really not afraid of getting pulled over, because i'm pretty confident that i'd be able to cry my way out of a ticket. this is going to be bad someday. someday i'll actually get pulled over and get a ticket, and boy, will i be pissed. it'll be some woman cop who gives me one... please God, don't let me ever get pulled over by a woman-cop.
here's a pic of beck just after she gave candy to trick-or-treaters. she looks all annoyed because this is not the first picture that i took of her serving candy. look at what she's giving out. Almond Joys. Eww. Coconut candy! i would've egged her house... but I guess she redeems herself with the twizzlers (because they make mouths happy)....

so i had a pretty decent weekend. went to the rusty nail (a bar in clifton park which may or may not be named after a pretty nasty sex act) on friday with beck, neary, and steve. they had yuengling on tap which made me happy. beck, neary, and steve ate some horrible looking wings which i wouldn't touch because they get your fingers dirty. well, that's not the only reason. i just can't ingest something that's brightass orange dripping grease. eww. we went back to steve's afterwards where we watched "big rigs" or something like that. it was this half hour tape on different kinds of trucks that someone had given to steve as a gag gift when he was a trucker, but he apparently really likes it so we had to watch it. there were many disturbing scenes where a little girl was interviewing lecherous-looking truckers. fell asleep on the sofa (and kicked steve who had fallen asleep on the other end of the sofa 'in my sleep' until he went upstairs to his own bed. hey, i figured he had a bed upstairs, he didn't need to be sleeping on the sofa making me uncomfortable).
Saturday was the day of movies with really good looking guys in it. Beck came over and we ordered Chinese food and ended up watching "The Three Musketeers" on CBS. Chris O'Donnel is really hot, but he just looks so gay with long hair in that movie... Then we went to Crossgates (where apparently everyone else in the world went that day) and looked at mini cooper because I've decided that I totally want one in either chili red, indi blue, or british racing green. it's just such an adorable car, and i've read great reviews on it. we didn't stay at crossgates long because the crossgates mono kicked in with a vengence. so we returned to my apartment where we vegged out and watched "Circle of Friends." Chris O'Donnel is also in that movie, and he is very extremely good looking, something about the eyes, the hair, the rugby shirt (and shorts) and the irish accent really does it for me... :) sothen we went to the movies and saw the transporter which i completely enjoyed even though beck and neary pointed out that there wasn't much of a plot. ok, no, there wasn't, and yeah, the dialog sucked, but the chase scenes and the fighting scenes were just so kickass. and the main-character-frank-guy was really hot. and apparently british (he had a great accent). there was one part that was just vaguely homosexual though, a fight where all the participents were covered in oil and slipping and sliding around, and then frank ends up under water with a dead body of one of the guys he was fighting and he has to suck air out of the guys mouth to survive. butyeah, after the first 10 minutes of the movie (really, the best part) where there's this great chase scene i decided that i'm going to be a transporter. but first, i'll need a better car...
Sunday i met the gang for lunch at houlihan's (how is it that even with an extra hour of sleep i was still late? i suck). then i went to my house where i performed experiments on my little brothers for school (not as weird as it sounds) and actually got some homework done! it was amazing... then beck and i went for starbuck's (wouldn't be a sunday without starbuck's) and we drove around. this time we made our way towards schenectady where we saw a "working structure fire" (<-beck's technical terminology) that was really cool-looking... there were firetrucks all over the place. we tried to take a picture, but we couldn't get close on the second pass... we ended up back at my place where we ate ramen, downloaded music and finished watching circle of friends. we discussed having a "ghetto thanksgiving party" where we'll serve ramen, mac&cheese, popcorn, pretzels, and toast (a la charlie brown) and, of course, canned cranberry sauce still in the shape of a can (actually, that's my favorite, and we have it at my house every thanksgiving)....
